Easter Saturday – 26th March – Waterville- County Kerry
The Kerry Group Rás Mumhan is renowned as one of the top cycle races on the Irish domestic calendar. Etape Ras Mumhan gives the sportive rider the rare opportunity to ride a classic stage of this great race.
The route has been released for the Ras Mumhan and the Etape will take place on the stage 3 route but on Easter Saturday.This will be a hardday of cycling iin South Kerry , with a series of loops once described by Irish Cycling Legend Phillip Cassidy as “the finest road racing stage in Ireland”. The fact that it includes the Category 1 Climb at Coom An Easpaig only adds to the intrigue. This will come at the 100km point of a 135 km route that also includes 5 other climbs.
The Etape starts and finishes in Waterville.
The route is Waterville, Ballinskelligs, , Cahirsiveen, Dromid, New Chapel Cross, Portmagee, Coom An Easpaigh, The Glen, , and on to the Finish in Waterville.
